About My Counselling Therapy
For counselling clients I offer an integrated approach where I blend different types of theories and use tools from various models, this enables me to give each client a truly tailored made treatment.
We can look to the past and see how this is affecting you in the present day with a psychodynamic approach or understanding your behaviour today with the use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, we will decide together the best way forward.
My aim is to help you focus on your self- development, growth and recognise your strengths and creativity, self-worth and values. You learn to accept who you are and reconnect with the real you. We work together to explore your concerns and find solutions to the issues you bring to therapy, we will always work at your own pace.
Counselling helps you to make sense of your thoughts and feelings and alleviate emotional distress. All sessions are confidential and you will always be treated with compassion and not judged, no matter what issues you bring to therapy. Sessions last 50 minutes and I offer a safe place where you can talk in confidence without being judged.
